Taiwan listed firms report 1H26 pretax profit surge on AI server demand
Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission said on August 25 that strong global demand for Taiwan-made AI servers and high-performance computing lifted corporate earnings in the first half of 2026. The agency said pretax profits at listed and OTC companies reached their highest first-half level in 10 years.
