Taiwan AI Cloud General Manager Han-chang Wu said at the 2026 Taiwan Sustainability Summit on August 25 that as open-source models mature, computing power becomes easier to access, and generative AI becomes more widespread, the barriers to enterprises launching AI proof-of-concept (POC) projects have fallen sharply. But moving AI from a demo to formal deployment is not just about model capability; it is about whether it can support core enterprise workflows.
