And failing to meet the new memory restrictions will come with consequences.</p> <p class="wp-block-paragraph">The memory limitations were <a href="https://developer.android.com/about/versions/17/behavior-changes-all#app-memory-limits">first introduced with Android 17</a>, appearing first on Pixel phones.
