GlobalWafers announced on September 14 that recovery work is continuing at its Novara plant in Italy following a fire that broke out on the facility's 8-inch line on July 20, 2026, local time. The site has formally begun a partial resumption of operations, with overall recovery running slightly ahead of the original schedule.
