Neocloud lifts OEM buying as ODM-direct share slips below 80% in 2026
Taiwan-based server original design manufacturers (ODMs) have long been key partners for cloud service providers (CSPs) through the ODM-direct model, but the model's share is declining as neocloud customers ramp up AI demand. DIGITIMES Intelligence expects the ODM-direct share of contract manufacturing to fall to 79.1% in 2026, dropping below 80% for the first time.
