As power infrastructure is now widely regarded as the foundation of a nation's strength, Taiwan is accelerating investment in gas-fired generation, green energy and energy storage. Premier Cho Jung-tai has outlined a medium- to long-term electricity plan, which will extend Taiwan's offshore wind expansion timetable to 2039.
