He said his previous claims regarding <a href="https://www.theverge.com/ai-artificial-intelligence/996563/ai-safety-research-metr-redwood-openai-anthropic">fears around AI safety</a> being a <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2026/09/18/us/politics/trump-ai-safety-anthropic-openai-china.html">"hoax"</a> cooked up by Democrats no longer apply now that he's renamed the technology to "<a href="https://www.theverge.com/policy/1002468/trump-ai-superintelligence-executive-order-ai">Super Intelligence</a>."
