While these earbuds stand out for a number of reasons, like great ANC and a handy screen on the charging case, our favorite aspect is the excellent call quality.</p> <div class="product-block"><h3>Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro</h3> <figure class="product-image"><img width="300" height="200" src="https://platform.theverge.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/05/268539_Soundcore_Liberty_5_Pro_JHiggins_0007.jpg?w=300" class="attachment-medium size-medium" alt="The blue Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro earbuds sitting next to their open case on a mauve background." /></figure> <h3>Where to Buy:</h3><ul><li><a href="https://www.amazon.com/Soundcore-Whisper-Clear-Cancelling-Wireless-Playtime/dp/B0GWLH8Z7D"> <strike>$169.99</strike> $135.99 at <strong>Amazon</strong></a></li><li><a href="https://www.soundcore.com/products/d1203-liberty-5-pro-anc-earbuds-clear-calls?variant=46723612213438"> <strike>$169.99</strike> $135.99 at <strong>Anker</strong></a></li><li><a href="https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1958632-REG/soundcore_by_anker_d1203z11_liberty_5_pro_.html/"> <strike>$169.99</strike> $149.99 at <strong>B&amp;H Photo</strong></a></li></ul></div> <p class="wp-block-paragraph">Even beyond the crisp call quality, these earbuds are equipped with several features that feel like a treat at this price, with a IP55 dust and water resistance rating, LDAC for high-resolution audio with supported devices, and built-in voice commands. Our only minor complaint was that the default sound settings are a bit bass-forward, but that was easy to fix thanks to a set of seven sound examples that let you dial in the profile for your tastes.</p> <h5 class="wp-block-heading"><a href="https://www.theverge.com/tech/935766/soundcore-liberty-5-pro-series-earbuds-review">Read our Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro review</a>.</h5> <div id="hype-desk-root"></div> window.HYPE_DESK_CONFIG = { productImageUrl: "https://platform.theverge.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2026/09/ChatGPT-Image-Sep-30-2026-01_20_49-PM.png", productImageAlt: "Tineco FLOOR ONE S9 Artist Steam", productTitle: "Tineco FLOOR ONE S9 Artist Steam", shortDescription: "Save $290 on Tineco’s steam-cleaning floor washer for October 6–7.", longDescription: "The S9 Artist Steam pairs 320°F HyperSteam technology, designed to help dissolve grease and stubborn stains, with a 180° lay-flat design for cleaning under furniture.
