South Korea and AMD sign AI semiconductor pacts to build heterogeneous computing base

South Korea has signed two memorandums of understanding with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) to strengthen its AI semiconductor ecosystem and accelerate heterogeneous computing infrastructure. The agreements, announced after meetings between South Korean science and ICT officials and AMD leadership, are aimed at supporting the country’s push to build a national AI power base.
