Wistron reports strong first-half profit and expands AI capex in Taiwan and the US

Wistron said on August 4 that it delivered strong first-half 2026 results and expects artificial intelligence demand to remain robust in the second half. The Taiwan-based electronics manufacturer also approved additional capital spending in Taiwan, the US, and Vietnam as it prepared for further AI-related capacity expansion.
