SK Telecom turns everyday photos into searchable AI records
Photos taken in passing can become difficult to find when they are needed most, but SK Telecom is introducing a feature designed to turn those snapshots into searchable records. SK Telecom said Monday it is launching A. log, a feature in its A. app that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to organize photos taken with Meta AI glasses and Android smartphones. The feature analyzes information in photos and automatically generates titles, descriptions and tags, allowing users to retrieve images by time or keywords. Photos can be automatically sorted into categories including business cards, receipts, whiteboards, meeting materials, parking locations and posters. For example, a user who photographs a concert poster can later search for the event using details such as its name, date or location rather than scrolling through a photo library. Users of Meta AI glasses can connect photos through the A. app by enabling automatic synchronization in A. log.
